1. 01 · The vision

   A dream of Lord Brihaspati

   Mahent Narendra Sharma, devotee of Shri Dev Guru Brihaspati and Mahent (head priest) of Brihaspati Dham Mandir, established the temple in 2009. In a vivid dream, Lord Brihaspati asked Mahent Narendra Sharma to construct a mighty temple dedicated to Brihaspati himself. However, creating and managing the temple — being not an easy task — created many challenges, and Mahent Narendra Sharma was unsure how he would accomplish this task. After a few days, Lord Brihaspati appeared again in his dream and gave him a boom to accomplish this task.

2. 02 · The decision

   45 days to build the temple

   Mahent Narendra Sharma and his wife Smt. Meena Sharma made a strong decision from their heart and soul to construct this temple by 7 July 2009 — around 45 days from that date. As they faced many difficulties, those difficulties and challenges disappeared quickly due to the boom of Lord Brihaspati, and they were able to establish the temple within 45 days, on 7 July 2009. Therefore 7 July every year is celebrated as Pran Pratishtha Patotsav — the inauguration day.

3. 03 · Pran Pratishtha

   Idol of gold established on Guru Poornima

   The Idol of Gold of Lord Brihaspati was established in the Aashad Shukla Guru Poornima Samvt 2066 — Tuesday, 7 July 2009 — along with the exclusive assembly of people. Brihaspati Dham Mandir was constructed for Lord Dev Guru Brihaspati by Mahent Narendra Sharma.
